Toby Marsh
Toby's passion for coaching stems from helping people being a constant thread throughout his 25 year career
His practice centres on those navigating C-Suite, develop effectiveness, managing careers, providing thinking space for clarity and decision making.
He splits his time between West London and West Cornwall and is married to Kendra, a Chef and they have two teenage children. He enjoys running, climbing, the outdoors and the arts.
Helping and coaching has been a thread throughout his career, from giving advice as a Barrister, as a leader and internal consultant, to defining and achieve strategic business goals and more recently acting as Chief of Staff and trusted Advisor to Exco, Boards, CEOs etc.
After leaving the Criminal Bar, he JP Morgan International Bank as a Lawyer with assignments in Asia and Europe, before moving to HSBC and then Deutsche Bank, Toby held various COO, business, strategy and leadership roles.
He joined Brewin Dolphin, FTSE 250 in 2018 as Head of Strategic Initiatives, focussing on M&A and business develipment, before becoming Chief of Staff to the CEO for Wealth Management Europe in 2020, where he sits on the European Executive Committee, focussing on strategy, corporate development and advising on Board and ExCo initiatives.
He holds an LLB (Hons), BVC, Cambridge Advance Leadership Programme from Judge Business School, Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching and has completed The Board Programme from Henley Business School. He is an Associate Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation and currently undertaking his Advanced Coaching qualifications.
