Toby Marsh

Toby has over 25 years’ experience in business working with Senior Executives. He began his career as a Criminal Barrister in London.

With assignments in Asia and Europe, before moving to HSBC and then Deutsche Bank, Toby held various COO, business, strategy and leadership roles. 


He joined Brewin Dolphin, FTSE 250 in 2018 as Head of Strategic Initiatives, focussing on M&A and delivering business propositions, before becoming Chief of Staff to the CEO for Wealth Management Europe in June 2020, where he sits on the European Executive Committee, focussing on strategy, corporate development and advising on Board and ExCo initiatives. 


He holds an LLB (Hons), BVC, Cambridge Advance Leadership Programme from Judge Business School, Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching  and has completed The Board Programme from Henley Business School. 


Toby’s passion for coaching stems from helping people being a constant thread throughout his career, giving advice as a Barrister, as a leader and internal consultant to define and achieve strategic business goals and more recently acting as a Trusted Advisor to Exco, Boards, CEOs etc.


His practice centres on those navigating C-Suite, looking to develop effectiveness, corporate presence and managing careers, or seeking independent advice on specific issues. 


He splits his time between West London and West Cornwall and is married to Kendra, a Chef and they have two teenage children. He enjoys running, climbing, the outdoors and the arts.
